Our Board of Directors

Barry is at Cozen O’Connor’s D.C. office where he is a co-chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department.

Prior to joining the firm, Barry was an assistant federal public defender in D.C.

He is widely recognized as a sentencing expert and has previously served as a co-chair of the ABA’s Criminal Justice Section Sentencing Committee and the U.S. Sentencing Commission’s Practitioners Advisory Group.

Over the course of his forty year career as a defense attorney, Barry has seen the consistent evisceration of basic due process protections for criminal defendants. He is excited to assist Due Process Institute as it works to reverse that trend.
